And try to focus on current form.

Expected Goals (xG) ⚽️

Let’s start with the obvious.

🇳🇴 🤖 Erling Haaland undoubtely the one that racks up most xG in the league and is leading by quite a distance. xG of 6.89 which is >4.0 more than the nearest competitor.

There’s a narrative building up in the community that you can go without him for the tough run 🏃‍♂️ from GW9-16. Looking at this though, I find that completely baseless. He can easily rack up good number again good teams too.

If anything, owners of 🇦🇷 Julian Alvarez 🕷, will you be happy with keeping both of them for that run 🏃‍♂️ 🤔 💭. He has good xG stat 🌟 of 1.97 in the last 4 but how much do you think he’ll rack up during those period?

Callum Wilson 🔫 has xG of 2.69 and always hogs up big chances when he plays and he has started the last 2. A personal favourite of mine but finding it difficult to justify him considering the price point and uncertainty of starts going forward.

Bukayo Saka 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🌟, the starboy racked up xG of 2.66 scoring 2 goals. Undoubtedly, Arsenal main threat going forward. To be honest, the team cumulative numbers has seen a drop in attacking terms, but Saka still seems to hog the limelight.💡

Liverpool 🔴 meanwhile has been very attacking in the past few matches. And that’s justified by them being the 2nd best team cumulative xG in the league behind City in the season thus far.

Mohamed Salah 🇪🇬 🤴 is not a surprise on the list with xG of 2.25 and notching 2 goals. But more interesting to me, its Darwin 🇺🇾 who we all know always has good xG numbers – 2.60 in last 4. But usually his poor finishing means he underperforms massively. But he has been on scoring run 🏃‍♂️ lately getting 3 in those 4 games meaning he has slightly overperfomed the numbers.

Aston Villa 🦸‍♂️ will soon becomes an interest to many due to favourable fixtures. And while many has Diaby 🇫🇷 a player many seem to have eye on, he’s not in the top 10. Rather, Ollie Watkins 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 manages to find a spot in top 10 with xG of 1.93 and finally scoring a goal over the weekend.

But again as pointed out previously, it’s Matty Cash 🇵🇱 is silently doing some damage here.

A defender with an xG of 2.10 is an anamoly but he seems to be racking up penalty area touches and shots in the box every match. 🎯

I simply see him as the most attacking defender in the game currently more so than Estupinan 🇪🇨.

Expected Assists (xA)

Mo Salah 🇪🇬 🤴 yet again highlighting the different approach to his game this season.

Top for xA with 1.93.

He has combined his goal scoring prowress with significant big chances creations. 4 assists so far is not something to shy away from. 👀

This actually has benefited him in terms of BPS.

Previous season due to him being not involved much he usually requires 2 returns per match at least to rack up maximum bonus. ➕️

However, this season his baseline BPS has been significantly boosted by his big chances reaction this allowing him to soar up the BPS standings.

Evidence is thel ast match – one goal but 3 BPS.

Bukayo Saka 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🌟 again further highlighting his importance to the Arsenal team. Top in xG and top in xA.

For me, if you want a piece of the team 💣, either go Saka or sway. Do watchout for injury updates though.

Pedro Neto 🇵🇹 🐺 is absolutely smashing it 💯 👏

His numbers is what we hoped of last season.

He’s the heartbeat of the Wolves side but he’s slightly more inclined to assist potential more than goalscoring currently with xA of 1.74. Whether you want to invest in, I suggest to look at the FDR first before deciding.

Man United boys 😈 find themselves in the list. Bruno Fernandes 🇵🇹 (1.32) & Marcus Rashford 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (1.15). Whether will they will justify spots in our drafts now remains a big❓️. The team had lack momentum in the season thus far whether it changes massively weighs on our decisions.

With Son 🇰🇷 Saka 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Salah 🇪🇬 becoming options, it may tough to justify inclusion unless things changes.

Kieran Trippier 🚆 is gaining momentum 🔥.

His last game significantly boosted those xA 1.13 numbers with all of his 3 assist came in that game. I expect that numbers to go up further.

The decision is whether to have him or anot hugely depends on how you restructure team. 🔁

James Maddison 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🎯 is the centre piece of the Spurs side 🤍. The attacking play has been breathtaking. xA of 1.06 notching 2 assist both in the North London Derby.

Having both Son 🇰🇷 and him could be massive but if you can’t afford Korean I don’t think Madders alone is a massive downgrade.
