Leicester have a double gameweek in GW29 and no blank in GW32 so should we be looking at the two key Leicester players?
🏴 Maddison (£8.2m) The Midfielder made his first senior England start at the weekend and looked very impressive, creating five chances. In the league however he is frankly stuttering, blanking in four of the last six gameweeks. He has however taken 16 shots in that time and delivered 22 crosses. With only 4 on target though, he only has one goal in that time. Furthermore he is managing a persistent injury and has had to, on occasion, declare himself fit.
🏴 Barnes (£6.7m) The wide man has two goals to his name in the last six gameweeks, however like Maddison he has blanked in four out of the last six games. With 22 total touches inside the box, 8 of his 10 shots came from within 18 yards. Barnes however is not as creative as Maddison, averaging only 1.3 crosses per game.
🤔 Who to bring in?
Both players are capable of flashes of brilliance, but in the same breath their form in the last six game weeks isn’t great. Barnes is explosive and has plenty of chances in front of goal – and owned by just 1.9% of teams, he could be a great differential.
