Gameweek 8, Top Transfers In/Out :
In a week in which every person and their dog 🐶 seems to be playing their wildcard 🐆♦️, here’s the top transfers in/out:

Top 5 transfers in:
Son 🇰🇷 (Spurs) – ~900k transfers in, now 30% ownership – tops 🔝this list for the second time this season. 43 points in his last 4 games 🤩 is one factor but the other is a theoretical plum fixture vs Luton in a week where Man City and Arsenal play each other 🤺, making him a top captaincy 🧢 pick. Will he fall victim to the curses 🤬 of being the most transferred in player and having the early ⏰kick off?
Watkins 🏴 (Villa) – ~820k transfers in, now 27% ownership – comes off the back of a huge 23 point return, with 3 goals and 2 assists last week 🤯. Clearly an exceptional performance ✅, which has earned him an England recall ✅, and now approaching a great run of fixtures too ✅. However worth noting that prior to that game, Watkins had been his normal consistent, low ceiling 🥱self in the league – only blanking 😶 once, but only averaging ~5 points a game. Which Watkins will show up against Wolves 🐺 this week?
Cash💰(Villa) – ~680k transfers in, now 27% ownership – somewhat incredible that a player who’s had 2 negative 📉 returns in 7 matches is now the third 🥉most selected defender in the game. However a decent price 🤑, several attacking 🗡️ returns (with potential for more judging on his positioning/opportunities), and a nice run of fixtures sees him make third on this list
Maddison (Spurs) – ~500k transfers in, now ~35% owned – given the form and the fixtures a Spurs triple 🎼 up has been popular in many wildcard 🐅♠️teams, with Maddison normally the second attacking pick alongside the Spurs captain. Has blanked 😐 2 of the last 3 but largely returned a steady stream of points this season and seems to be on a number of set pieces 🥅too. A cheaper 💸 option than his compatriot if you’re only going with one
Trippier (Newcastle) – ~420k transfers in, now ~45% owned – after blanking 😶 in the first 4 league matches, now on a frankly ludicrous 30 points in 2 games 😱, picking up 4 assists and 6 bonus points in that period. Newcastle have pretty solid fixtures, and with other popular pick Botman injured 🤕 , Trippier continues to increase in popularity ⬆️

Top 5 transfers out
Estupinan (Brighton) ~1.3m transfers out, now 49% owned – still the most owned defender in the game, but now ruled out injured 🤕 for at least the next 3 matches. An easy sell 👋
Saka (Arsenal) ~550k transfers out, now 54% owned – from the most owned defender to the most owned midfielder in FPL 🤔. Potentially injured 🤕 ahead of what was already a tricky 🙄fixture against Man City. Also an easy switch to popular captaincy pick Son 🇰🇷 this week. But will everyone want him back for Sheffield United at home in GW10? 🧐
Rashford (Man Utd) – ~500k transfers out, now 24% ownership – makes this list for the fifth time this season, the most of any player 😬. Now on 3 blanks 😶 in 3 games, which is not good enough for an 8.8m player. Another easy switch to Son too ✋🏼
Chilwell 🏴 (Chelsea) ~450k transfers out, now 11% ownership – halves 🥑 his ownership again this week. Still 🤕 , still on one point in 4 matches, amazed so many people still owned him at all 🤷♂️
Botman 🇳🇱 (Newcastle) – became the one ‘fun with flags’ player to actually miss out last week, and is now ruled out until after the international 🌏 break. Could only miss one game though 🤨, so not the worst shout to hold if you’re short on transfers/not wildcarding and have other priories

What transfers are you making this week? And what do you think of the trends so far?
