Gameweek 8 Preview – captain picks 

 

🇰🇷 Son. Another “Korean Guy” 😅 Son has now scored 6 goals in the last 4 games. Relishing the number 9 role he’s registered 10 shots on target which is only bettered by Maddison amongst midfielders. Luton up next who have failed to keep a clean sheet and shipped 12 goals so far.

 

🇳🇴 Haaland. Quite simply, Arsenal away is a tough fixture and we can expect the big Norwegian to be kept relatively quiet. Arsenal have an excellent defensive record, conceding just 6 goals so far and keeping 3 clean sheets. However, Haaland is a force of nature and bagged 2 goals and 2 assists against Arsenal last season.

 

🇪🇬 Salah. The Egyptian has blanked just once so far this season and has 3 goals and 4 assists already. Brighton away can represent a tough fixture, however their defence is struggling. 14 goals shipped (including 6 last gameweek)and no clean sheets. We can expect Salah to get some space too as Brighton’s full backs often play high up the pitch.
