Gameweek 6, Top Transfers In/Out :
It was a disappointing week for many managers last week – let’s see what changes they’ve been making:

Top 5 transfers in:
Alvarez 🇦🇷 (M City) ~620k transfers in, now 23% ownership – Alvarez’s ownership has almost trebled 🎼 in 2 weeks as the data 🔢 shows he could be the rarest of things – a nailed 🔨 Man City asset 🤩. Returning in 80% of games this season is elite level with 2 goals ⚽️ and 5 assists thus far. A man of the match 🕺performance in the CL will help increase support for him too, although having played 90 minutes, it may be worth keeping an eye 👀 for any last minute team leaks 💦
Botman 🇳🇱 (Newcastle) – ~240k transfers in, now 16% ownership – the consensus among a number of skilled managers appears to be a Newcastle 🏰 defender is now a must with a great run of fixtures coming up. Nevertheless I do find the rush for the defence of a team who’s kept 1 CS in 5 league games those season a little odd🤷♂️. If you’re going to go there, Botman is the cheapest 🤑 nailed option at 4.5m, with the occasional attacking return too (like a GW1 assist)
Mbeumo 🇨🇲 (Brentford) ~200k transfers in, now 29% ownershio – an odd one in that he’s blanked 😐 2 of the last 3 games. Nevertheless, nailed 💅, on penalties 🥅and a couple of solid fixtures at home 🏠 coming up, including struggling Everton at home this week ✅
JWP 🏴 (West Ham) ~190k transfers in, now 9% ownership – the set piece specialist has at least one attacking 🤺 return in every game he’s played in the league this season. Not necessarily an obvious time to transfer him in, with Liverpool and Newcastle in his next 3 but neither of those defences are as strong as they once were. An interesting option 🤔
Salah 🇪🇬 👑 (Liverpool) ~180k transfers in, now 28% ownership – consistency is valuable in FPL ☑️ and Salah’s averaging 6+ points a game having not blanked 😶 all season. The only nailed 🔨 Liverpool attacker has West Ham up next, with many already figuring out how to get the Egyptian King into their wildcard 🐆🐅teams over the coming weeks

Top 5 transfers out
Jackson 🇸🇳 (Chelsea ) ~300k transfers out, now 15% ownership – tops 🔝 this list for a second week in a row. Incredible amount of chances/xG but just doesn’t seem to be able to put the ball ⚽️ in the net 🥅. Also now one yellow card 🟨 away from a ban after picking up 4 in his first 5 games. The upcoming fixtures aren’t bad but difficult to justify keeping him 👋
Chilwell 🏴 (Chelsea) ~240k transfers out, now 31% ownership – unexpectedly benched 🪑last week, missing out on clean sheet points and even picking up a yellow card 🟨 when he did come in. Poch’s comments suggested this might not be a one time only change either 🙄. Nevertheless, had been one of Chelsea’s most attacking players when he’s played. An understandable transfer out, but could also be worth monitoring one more week 👀
Isak 🇸🇪 (Newcastle) ~240k transfers out, now 25% ownership. Many are choosing to move into Newcastle 🏯 assets with their good fixture run 🏃♀️ . But having not played the last league game, and getting 90 minutes in the Champions League, could Wilson be the go to PL striker for Newcastle with Isak used more for European 🇪🇺fixtures? No return since GW1 + uncertainty over starting makes him a fair transfer out ❌
March (Brighton) ~150k transfers out, now 9% ownership – was the highest scoring player 🔝 in the game by the end of GW2, since has blanked 😶 3 games in a row. Failing to play at all against Man United 👹has proven the last straw 🍹for many and Brighton have a tricky fixture run coming up too ✋🏼
Rashford (Man Utd) ~140k transfers out, now 33% ownership – a slightly surprising 🫢 one, having returned in two of the last 3 games, and with Burnley 🗑️ up next. However, Man United certainly haven’t looked their best this season, and there are arguably better midfield options. Wouldn’t necessarily be a priority transfer for me 🤷♂️

What transfers are you making this week? And what do you think of the trends so far?
