Gameweek 3 Preview – captain picks

๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด Haaland. No longer the โ€œperma captainโ€ pick, Haaland blanked in the last match. He did however register 4 shots in the box, and with Foden starting to find rhythm and Haalandโ€™s runs, we could expect a rout against a newly promoted team in Sheffield United who have already conceded 3 goals.

๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Saka. Despite seemingly now off penalties, Saka is still Arsenalโ€™s biggest attacking threat. The England man has registered six shots so far (5 of which were in the box). Arsenal face a Fulham side that has one of the worse defences in the league; with an xG conceded of 3 goals per game.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฒ Mbeumo. I have never suggested the Cameroon international for the armband before, but with three goals and a total of 23 points in the last two games he should be firmly in your thoughts. Out of Toneyโ€™s shadow, he is relishing a more advanced role, and registered 5 shots on target so far.
ย
Haaland is the pick this week, but donโ€™t be afraid to go against him.
