Gameweek 2 Preview : TOP Transfers IN/OUT :

In general, it’s likely to be better to save a transfer this week 🏦 – there’s a lot of knee jerk reactions and chasing 🏃‍♀️ last week’s points going on! Nevertheless, here we go with the most popular transfers this week:

Top 5 transfers in:

Isak (Newcastle) – As the second highest points scorer in GW1 at 13 points 🥈, perhaps no surprise he’s the most transferred in and has already seen a price rise ⬆️. That said, he remains not a guaranteed starter (and is likely to share minutes with Wilson) and faces a tough upcoming run of games including Man City 🏙️ this week. Avoid for now ❌ but worth monitoring 👀

Chilwell (Chelsea) – Many people avoided going there in the first week given the Liverpool fixture, and planned to bring him in for Chelsea’s plum run 🏃‍♂️ from GW3. An assist in GW1 has helped his popularity too. A good option if you have an obvious defender to transfer out ✅

Saka (Arsenal) – the second most owned player in the game at 65%. A fairly obvious transfer in if you don’t own him already. Hit double 🪢digits in GW1. ✅

Rodrigo (Man City) – Classic knee-jerk reaction. 13 points in GW1. Wasn’t a player anyone was seriously looking at prior to that 🤷‍♂️. Needs more than 1 GW of data 🧑‍💻 before becoming a viable option. Avoid ❌

Estupinan (Brighton) – the game’s most owned defender. Got an assist 🥅 in GW1. Decent couple of fixtures but the run from GW4-9 looks a bit trickier 🤔. Still worth getting on if you don’t own him. ✅

Top 5 transfers out

KDB (Man City) – Injured 🤕 , looks to be for months, confirmed by Pep. Unless you want a 10.5m player on your bench, he’s an easy transfer out ✅

Stones (Man City) – missed GW1 due to a hip injury 🤕. Uncertain whether he plays GW2. Wouldn’t necessarily be rushing to get rid, but understand people going there 🤷‍♂️

Mings (Villa) – picked up a nasty injury 🤕in week 1 and looks set to be out for some time. An easy transfer out ✅

Kane (None) – left the league 👋. Kinda crazy people went there in the first place but clearly a transfer out now ✅

Gabriel (Arsenal) – surprisingly 😳didn’t start GW1 after >70 consecutive league starts for Arsenal. Feels a bit of a knee jerk reaction, could easily start GW2, particularly with the Timber injury 🤕. Would monitor for now personally 👀
