• James Ward Prowse is back in the Premier League and is back providing assists. He trouble Chelsea with the set pieces, created 2 chances, 1 big chance and provided assists for West Ham:s opening 2 goals. 

• Chelsea’s problems of finishing from last season continue to haunt them despite change of most of the personnel. Even after having possession for most of the game, firing more shots and having a higher xG West Ham had more shots on target.and more goals. Also West Ham were down to 10 men for the last quarter of the game.
