Gameweek 18 Preview ; Top Transfers IN/OUT :

 

IN:

Mitrović✔: With his double digit haul in GW17, Mitrović has now recorded 10G + 2A. SOU(H) followed by DGW versus LEI & CHE is very appealing. However, the Serbian will face a one game suspension if he gets another yellow card which would then make his DGW into a single.    

 

Rashford✔: Looked to be back at his best versus NFO where he got 1G +1A. With WOL(A) & BOU(H) after, the conditions to keep that going looks good as WOL have conceded joint second most goals at home (13) and BOU have conceded most goals away (26). 

 

Toney✔: Only Kane and Haaland have scored more goals than Toney (11) and only Haaland have a higher total xG than Toney (12.23) equaling an xG of 0.81 per game. Only concern is the eventual ban he could face for breaching betting rules. 

 

Almirón✔: Almirón and NEW continue to be on fire. Long term fixtures look nice so for just £5.9 he offers incredible value. 

 

Ødegaard✔❌: WIth and xGI of 0.65 per 90´ and three double digit hauls out of the four latest games the Norwegian is well worth to consider. However, many already have Martinelli and with BHA(A) followed by NEW(H) I think a double up on ARS offense would be a bit too much.  

 

 

OUT:

Jesus✔: Injured. Expected back 04 Feb. 

 

James✔: Injured. Expected back 03 Feb. 

 

Trossard✔: Next up is ARS who have conceded the second fewest amount of goals this season. Getting players like Almiron or Rashford instead of Trossard seems reasonable. 

 

Wilson✔❌: Missed the latest game due to illness but might be back for LEE(H) which could be a goals feast. Could be worth taking a punt on a fast recovery if you have a decent back up.

 

Maddison✔: Injured.
