Gameweek 9 Preview ; Top Transfers IN/OUT :
IN:
Saliba✔❌: Last six GW:s, ARS have the second lowest xGc (4.10) and have conceded second fewest SoT (17). TOT(H) & LIV(H) next is not attractive for clean sheets but as a long term hold Saliba [2G +1A] is a good pick.
Toney✔: With 5G + 2A so far and a game in GW9 versus one of the worst defenses in the league [BOU(A)] the talisman is set up for more returns.
Maddison✔: With kind fixtures [NFO(H), BOU(A), CRY(H), LEE (H)] Maddison could be well worth a punt even though his xGI per 90’ is just 0.25.
Trippier✔: With returns in five out of eight games, Trippier is in the current dream team. With good fixtures and set pieces to his name he is a great FPL asset.
Zaha✔: Zaha is one of the biggest offensive threats at the midfield in FPL [xG per 90’ of 0.61], takes penalties and has nice fixtures [CHE (H) LEE (H) LEI (A)].
OUT:
Jesus✔❌: His journey in ARS has been a huge success, 4G + 3A [xGI per 90’ of 0.91].
However, selling is reasonable considering the alternatives and ARS fixtures.
Salah✔: Even though I would like to give him a last change versus BHA his price of £12.9 is hard to justify and selling Salah to fund transfers is more than fair.
Rashford❌: Rashford is reportedly set to be fit for GW9, he may not start but should make an appearance at least. If you own Rashford for the long run, keep him.
Ødegaard✔❌: Played 90 minutes vs Serbia in Nations League so injury should not be a concern, however, other reasons to sell exists like fixtures and better midfield alternatives.
Alexander-Arnold❌: TAA is not performing as well as last season [xGI per 90´of 0.26 vs 0.47] but he is still one of the most offensive defenders in the league, takes freekicks and corners. BHA(H) is not the time to sell imo.
