Gameweek 5 Preview ; Top Transfers IN/OUT :
IN:
Haaland✔: 6G + 1A in four GW:s and not a single blank speaks for itself. Might be rotated sometime in the future but even then he can reward his owners with fine returns.
Luis Díaz✔❌: Bagged two against BOU but compared to Salah his underlying numbers is not that impressive [xGI per 90’ of 0.44 vs 1.05). I am not a fan of a Salah to Díaz transfer.
Groß✔: Been a bargain for his owners [3G+1A]. Next up is FUL(A), LEI(H) & BOU(A) which together only kept two clean sheets so far.
Ødegaard✔❌: In fine form in a well performing ARS but Martinelli and Jesus are still the standout picks unless you want the triple up.
Saliba✔: Produced an offensive return for the second time in a row. ARS face a struggling AVL(A) next with just three goals scored and 3PTS.
OUT:
Zinchenko✔❌: Injured, doubtful to play but may be back pretty soon.
Salah❌: No return in the 9-0 victory in the previous GW is frustrating but Salah has been one of the best FPL assets last seasons, one bad GW does not justify the sale.
Cancelo❌: Similar to Salah, Cancelo is a proven FPL asset and next up is NFO(H) which have only scored two goals so far.
Son✔: Kane seems like the much better pick atm. as Son really has been underperforming [xGI per 90’; Kane 1.13 vs 0.46 Son].
Zaha✔❌: Injured, back in training but very doubtful to play this GW.
