Gameweek 4 Preview ; Top Transfers IN/OUT :
IN:
Rodrigo✔: Currently playing out of position as a single striker [xGI of 1.34 per 90’]. He has been involved in 5/7 of LEE goals with his 4G + 1A and 6/7 of the next games has a FDR of 2.
Perišić✔: Made his first start in GW3 and rewarded his owners with 12PTS. The defender takes set pieces, has an xA per 90’ of 1.0 and has the most passes leading to shots per 90´ in TOT (4.17).
Trippier✔: NEW has already kept two clean sheets and in GW3 Trippier also showed with his stunning freekick that he offers offensive threat as well. After LIV(A) in GW5 the fixtures look appealing.
Toney✔: The talisman is yet to blank and with just 1/12 next games having a FDR higher than 3 Toney has good chances to keep returns coming. His current xGI is 0.82 per 90´.
Saliba✔❌: With two clean sheets and three home games among the next four ARS assets look promising. However, one should not expect Saliba to keep scoring goals as he has only fired one shot in three games.
OUT:
Koulibaly✔: Suspended until GW5.
Alexander-Arnold❌: Zero clean sheets and offensive returns so far is frustrating but BOU(H) is for me a too good of a fixture to sell Trent, but it might be his last chance.
Saka✔: £7.9 seems a lot for a player that returned 0G + 1A in a side which has scored nine goals. His xGI of 0.28 per 90’ can be compared to his £6.4 teammate Martinelli’s xGI of 0.73 per 90’.
Darwin✔: Suspended until GW6.
Son❌: Has been underperforming when it comes to end product so far [xG 1.06] but he could be worth to hold at least for NFO(A) who has the fourth highest xGA (5.38).
