Gameweek 3, Day 1, Key Notes:

⏱️ Spurs 1 – 0 Wolves
⚙️ xG: 1.67 – 0.71
🚀 Shots (SoT): 11 (4) – 20 (3)

📜 Notes:
• The combination of Kane and Perisic worked for the second game running and both players bagged goals amd assists in back to back matches respectively.
• Last year’s golden boot winner Son Heung-Min has failed to score a goal in his 3 outings this season. He has managed just 4 shots on target and 1 assist from 5 chances created so far.
• Even though Wolves fired 20 shots, 13 of those were from outside the box. No surprises they failed to score.

⏱️ Palace 3 – 1 Villa
⚙️ xG: 2.69 – 0.90
🚀 Shots (SoT): 17 (9) – 13 (5)

📜 Notes:
• Aston Villa conceded 17 shots in the match out of which 15 shots were conceded inside the box. Worrying signs!
• Zaha is proving to be Crystal Palace’s biggest asset once again. After an inspiring performance against Liverpool, the Ivorian scored 2 goals against Villa. He fired 3 shots, all on target, had 2 big chances and 10 touches in the opposition box. He bagged all 3 bonus points despite having a penalty saved.

⏱️ Everton 1 – 1 Forest
⚙️ xG: 1.52 – 1.04
🚀 Shots (SoT): 19 (8 ) – 14 (5)

📜 Notes:
• Henderson continues be the busiest goalkeeper in the league. He made 7 saves against Everton taking his tally to 18 saves, 5 more than any other keeper. No wonder Forest have conceded just 3 goals despite having the worst xGC in the league so far.
• Williams sits top among all FPL defenders for shots (8) and joint-third for chances created (5)
• Jordan Pickford picked up his first ever attacking return in #FPL with the assist for Everton’s goal.

⏱️ Fulham 3 – 2 Brentford
⚙️ xG: 2.54 – 1.80
🚀 Shots (SoT): 18 (9) – 13 (5)

📜 Notes:
• Mitrovic was unlucky to not get more returns from the game. He fired 8 shots (most), 5 Shots on target 😊 most, 4 big chances (most) and 13 touches in the opposition box (most).
• Ivan Toney provided a return in his third consecutive match, bagging bonus points in the third straight game as well. He has scored 2 goals from 3 Big Chances and provided 2 Assists by creating 7 Chances (2 Big Chances) already. Brentford’s six out of the next 7 fixtures have an FDR rating of 2.
• Popular budget enabler Andreas Pereira had a fine game against Brentford where he fired 3 shots (2 on target), created 4 chances including 1 big chance (=most) and bagged all 3 bonus points. Did you leave him on the bench?

⏱️ Leicester 1 – 2 Southampton
⚙️ xG: 0.27 – 0.92
🚀 Shots (SoT): 6 (1) – 9 (3)

📜 Notes:
• Leicester have let in 8 goals (most) in the first 3 games of the campaign with the second worst xGC without even conceding a penalty! Are you one of the managers who have been duped by the double 4.0m goalkeepers trap?
• No club has had fewer ‘big chances’ than Leicester (1) this season.
• James Maddison has now scored or assjsted in 7 consecutive Premier League games.

⏱️ Bournemouth 0-3 Arsenal
⚙️ xG: 0.28 – 1.32
🚀 Shots (SoT): 6 (1) – 14 (6)
📜 Notes:
• No team has a lower xG than Bournemouth after 3 games. They have managed an xG of just 1.0 (0.59 vs AVL, 0.13 vs MCI and now 0.28 vs ARS) after 3 games. Liverpool next.
• Along with the goal and the cleansheet, William Saliba completed all his 76 passes with 100% accruracy. 12 points well deserved.
• Jesus vs Martinslli vs Saka:
Shots (SoT) – 10(3) vs 7(3) vs 5(1)
Big Chancs – 3 vs 3 vs 0
Chances Created – 5 vs 5 vs 5
Big Chances Created – 2 vs 1 vs 1
Goals (xG) – 2(2.12) vs 2(0.79) vs 0(0.32)
Assists – 3 vs 1 vs 1
