Gameweek 17 Preview ; Top Transfers IN/OUT :

 

IN:

Toney✔❌: With two goals versus MCI at Etihad, Toney seems to be able to score against anyone. However, in his three outings before that, BRE scored just one goal. C.WIlson and Mitrović are also worth considering. 

 

Darwin✔❌: Few players get as many chances as Darwin [xG of 0.94 per 90´]. If he can be as efficient as in GW16 we could get some very good returns. The downside is his price, as his points per million is low compared to other forwards. 

 

Almirón✔: Almirón was incredible before the WC, the question is whether he has lost his mojo or not. However, based on his price, previous performance and long term fixtures he is a solid pick. 

 

Mitrović✔❌: CRY(A) is followed by SOU(H) before FUL has a DGW versus LEI & CHE. The FUL talisman is relatively cheap considering his offensive threat [xG of 0.76 per 90´]. Mitrović is one yellow card from a suspension though.

 

Rashford✔: He made a great performance in the WC and with NFO(H), WOL(A) & BOU(H) the conditions to keep that going looks great. 

 

 

OUT:

Jesus✔: Injured. Expected back 04 Feb. 

 

Zaha✔: Long term fixtures are difficult as only one fixture from GW19 – GW29 has a FDR lower than three.

Trossard✔❌: Trossard [7G + 3A] and BHA have been good so far but with both ARS & LIV among the next four opponents other options (like Rashford) could be more appealing.  

 

Cancelo❌: Did not play as much as one would expect in the WC and should be motivated to bounce back. Chances for offensive returns are good as LEE have conceded fourth most goals (26).
