🗣 Guardiola on Alvarez/Haaland: “Now Erling has problems with his feet [read: foot]; he’s not fully fit. We rely on Julian, 100 per cent. He’s showing many things he can do. [And] they can play together.”
 
🗣 Howe on Wilson: “Callum, I didn’t want to risk [using him against Crystal Palace] with his illness and depleted immune system. He should be fine [for Chelsea in Gameweek 16].”
 
 
🗣 – Ben Dinney : Mitrovic reportedly out of the World Cup opener which means we won’t see him this weekend either.
 
 
🦊 Brendan Rodgers has sadly confirmed that James Justin will require surgery on a ruptured achilles. He will “probably” miss the rest of the season.
Jonny Evans returned from injury in midweek.
 
 
🌳 Steve Cooper has said that Scott McKenna and Cheikhou Kouyate missed the EFL Cup win over Spurs with “knocks”.
Orel Mangala is suspended for GW16 after his red card in that game.
 
🍒 Gary O’Neil has no new injuries ahead of Gameweek 16.
Lloyd Kelly is not yet ready to return but he’ll be “definitely fine” following the World Cup break.
Chris Mepham is suspended after picking up five yellow cards.
