IN:
Foden✔❌: MCI & ARS blanks in GW12 so if one already got a total of 3+ players from these sides, wait until GW13 to transfer Foden in. However, LIV have conceded three goals in both their two previous PL games and it is hard to imagine they will be able to stop Foden [38PTS last three GW:s] and MCI in their current form.
Cancelo✔❌: LIV(A) followed by a blank GW is a bit of a turn off, but in LIV’s current state Cancelo could thrive and he is a great long term pick given one has enough good players on the bench to survive the MCI & ARS blank in GW12 .
Trippier✔: Trippier is the gift that continues to give. He has blanked in only two out of ten GW:s. Long term fixtures look good and with set pieces to his name he offers offensive threat.
Trossard✔: BRE(A) followed by NFO(H) should be feasible fixtures for BHA. The Belgian could be worth a punt due to his goal threat [xG per 90’ of 0.64].
Martinelli✔❌: With 4G + 3A so far and a xGI per 90’ of 0.74, Martinelli [£6.6] probably offers the most potential PTS return per million spent. But, just like the MCI players, it could be worth waiting until GW13 to transfer Martinelli in as ARS blank in GW12.
OUT:
Luis Díaz✔: Injured. Expected to be out for 6 – 8 weeks.
Alexander-Arnold✔: Picked up a knock to his ankle and is doubtful for GW11. Besides that, he has only gotten returns in one out of ten GW:s.
Salah✔: Bad form, difficult fixtures and cheaper, better performing alternatives makes the decision to sell Salah very reasonable.
Mitrović❌: Likely to be fit for GW11. Wait for press conferences before transferring out the Serbian as the next four fixtures are good [BOU (H), AVL (H), LEE (A), EVE (H)].
Bernardo✔: Not necessarily a bad pick but he takes up one of three MCI spots which results in fair sales as Foden, Cancelo, Haaland and KDB all are performing better and MCI blanks in GW12.
