FPL 2022/23 ; Gameweek 2 Review ; Budget Picks :
• Danny Ward £4.0 (Leicester City): The only playing £4.0 keeper & the most owned keeper in FPL has already conceded 6 times in 2 GWs. Only four teams have conceded more shots in the box than Leicester so far this season, which may raise doubts for FPL managers whether Ward shall be their first choice keeper or not, keep monitoring fox’s defensive form!
• Neco Willimas £4.0 (Nottingham Forest): The Welsh man has had a solid display at both ends of the pitch in Sunday win vs West ham after being utilized as a wing back in a 3-4-3 formation. Williams has registered the most shots (5), Sot (2) among his team mates, maybe he deserves a starting place in your team & not just a bench role!
• Nathan Patterson £4.0 (Everton): Despite registering 2 shots last GW , the disastrous start for the Toffees Plus the return of Seamus Coleman to training may have a real impact in Paterson starting spot , he is a don’t buy don’t sell for now !
• Josh DaSilva £4.6 (Brentford): Of all Mid-fielders priced £4.5 , DaSilva had the most electric displays so far with 2 goals to his name in just 92 minutes of play (From just 2 shots to be honest).Next 9 fixtures for Brentford scores less than 3 in FDR, which bodes well for him as 5th or even 4th mid-fielder!
• Andreas Pereira £4.5 (Fulham): The most owned mid-fielder in this price category has had a quiet day last GW vs Wolves , with zero shots , zero big chances created & just 1 touch in opposition boxes , Keep monitoring the ex-Man United man !
• Other £5.0 or below forwards: Everton (Salomón Rondón £5.0) has had almost half an hour of play last GW registering 1 Shot on target , but as said above Everton Form is not encouraging at the moment, while Fulham’s (Jay Stansfield £4.5) was brought in for the final 7 minutes last GW with no real impact. It is worth mentioning Nottingham Forest (Sam Surridge £5.0) who had 80 mins of play in the opening 2 GWs & shall be monitored for the coming weeks! Other £4.5 forwards like (Sam Greenwood, Archer & Taylor) didn’t have a single minute of play across GW 2 & need to be monitored as well!
