Hopefully everyone here benefited from Haaland’s 11️⃣7️⃣point haul (his 7th ! Double digit haul 🎣of the season). We have a Double ‼️ Gameweek this week, and for your consideration, we present to you Rashford, Haaland, and our differential pick Bruno Fernandes:
M Rashford 🏴 🥓(Crystal Palace (H), Leeds (H) 51% ownership))
We’d expect Rashford to be the go-to ☑️captain this week. A double GW ✅ with incredible fixtures ✅, for a player in strong form ✅. Since the post WC 🌍 🏆 restart, Rashford has returned in 5/6 games, averaging 8 🎱points a game. With 4 double digit returns this season he’s capable of even higher than that ⬆️ although interesting to note 3 of those returns came against Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool 🧐 . Could be on penalties 🥅. 2 plum home 🏠 fixtures against 2 teams with woeful 💩defensive records. Pretty much a no-brainer 🧠. Interesting dilemma to be had here if you still hold your triple 🎼captain chip – expect a few to be played
E Haaland 🇳🇴👑 (Tottenham (A) (85% ownership))
Rashford’s Effective Ownership will likely be so high that Haaland could even be a differential captaincy pick 🤯. We all know what Haaland can do, with 46 points in his 6 PLgames since the restart (a period where at times people have said he’s out of form!) He comes up against a Tottenham team who have conceded more goals ⚽️ than Fulham, Everton & Crystal Palace this season 😮. The 2 bites of the cherry 🍒 that the Man U options get probably makes them better picks, but if Haaland does haul, it could be quite a rank boost for captainers.
B Fernandes 🇵🇹 🤫(Crystal Palace (H) Leeds (H) (12% ownership)) –
The alternative Man U option. Hasn’t blanked 😐 in 5 PL games, with 7 points a game in that period. The FPL darling 😍of the second half of the 20/21 season – but probably not on penalties 🥅 this time round (Martial & Rashford have both taken them when Bruno’s on the pitch.) Not as consistent in the earlier part of the season, but the recent stats v Rashford are similar, with ownership significantly lower 🤔Could even be a triple captaincy punt for some
